PARTICIPATION RULES
1. CONTEST DURATION
The contest "Win a $50 Amazon gift card"
The "Win a $50 Amazon gift card" contest (the "contest") takes place in Quebec, starting from August 1, 2024, at 00:00:01 AM ET, until August 31, 2024, at 11:59:59 PM ET (the "contest period").
2. ELIGIBILITY
This contest is open to anyone who:
(i) resides in Canada;
(ii) is 18 years of age at the time of the contest;
(iii) this contest is exclusive to Sprint Credit customers.
Excluded are employees of Sprint Credit as well as employees of any company, agency, or organization collaborating in this contest, representatives or agents, advertising and promotion agents, and all persons with whom they are domiciled (hereinafter referred to as the "partners").
3. HOW TO PARTICIPATE
To participate, you must access the evaluation form located at this address https://g.page/r/Ce7cvWczAM9yEAI/review. A limit of one (1) entry per participant and per email address per two weeks will be accepted. 4. THE PRIZE
There is one prize to be won consisting of a $50 gift card usable on Amazon.ca.
5. PRIZE ALLOCATION
5.1 To be declared a winner, the selected participant must first, in addition to meeting the contest eligibility criteria and complying with the official contest rules (the "winner"): a) respond to the email message sent by the contest partners' representative within two (2) business days following the selection of their entry;
b) have correctly answered a mathematical skill-testing question;
c) sign a standard form of Declaration and Release of Liability prior to receiving the prize, releasing the contest organizers from any liability for any damage that may arise from the use of the prize. The winner must provide this document within two (2) days following its sending.
5.2 Disqualification.
If the selected participant fails to meet any of the conditions outlined in paragraph 5.1 above, they will be disqualified and will not receive any prize. In this case, the partners reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to randomly select another participant as the potential prize winner.
5.3 Prize Claiming. Upon receipt of the signed Declaration and Release of Liability form from the selected participant, the partners' representative will contact the winner to inform them of the procedure to claim their prize.
6. GENERAL CONDITIONS
6.1 Entry Verification. The validity of any entry is subject to verification by the partners. Any entry that is illegible, incomplete, fraudulently made will be disqualified. Any participant or person attempting to enter in a manner contrary to these official contest rules or in a manner that otherwise disrupts the conduct of this contest or is unfair to other participants or potential participants will be disqualified. Any decision by the contest judges, who may be employees or independent organizations, including but not limited to any question of eligibility or disqualification of any entry and participation, is final. Entries become the property of the partners and none will be returned.
6.2 The contest rules are available at the offices of Sprint Credit in Montreal and on the participation email when registering for the contest.
6.3 Acceptance of the Prize. The prize must be accepted as described in these rules and cannot be returned or substituted for another prize, nor exchanged in whole or in part for cash, subject only to what is provided in paragraph
6.4 below. The prize is not transferable to another person.
6.4 Prize Substitution. The partners reserve the right, at their sole and absolute discretion, and for any reason, to substitute a prize or part of it with a prize of equivalent or greater value, including the prize's cash value.
6.5 The winner agrees to comply with the contest eligibility criteria and these rules. Participating in the contest attests that they have received and understood these rules.
6.6 Prize/Winners.
By participating in this contest, each participant acknowledges that the partners will not be held liable, under any circumstances, to award more prizes than the number of prizes available, as established in the official contest rules. In the event that, for any reason (including, but not limited to, an error, malfunction, or defect in the design, promotion, management, implementation, or administration of the contest, mechanical, electronic, human or otherwise), the number of declared winners or the number of prizes claimed by participants exceeds the number of available prizes, the partners reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to end the contest partially or in its entirety, without notice, and to award the appropriate number of prizes among the appropriate number of winners, selected according to the contest rules from the eligible entries validly submitted before the end of the contest.
6.7 The partners will not assume any responsibility of any nature in all cases where their inability to act results from a fact or situation beyond their control, or from a strike, lockout, or any other labor conflict in their establishments or in the establishments of organizations or companies whose services are used for the holding of this contest. They reserve the right, at their sole and absolute discretion, to modify, cancel, terminate, or suspend the contest in its entirety or in part, for any cause or circumstance, including but not limited to the case where an event beyond their control corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the contest, such as a virus, computer bug, or unauthorized human intervention.
6.8 By participating in this contest, the winner authorizes the partners to broadcast, publish, and otherwise use their name, photograph, image, statements about the contest or any prize, place of residence, and/or voice for advertising purposes, without any form of compensation.
6.9 By participating in this contest or attempting to participate, each participant and/or purported participant agrees to release, discharge, and hold harmless, forever, the Partners as well as their directors, officers, employees, shareholders, agents, or other representatives (collectively, the "indemnified parties") from any claim, action, damage, demand, means of action, cause of action, lawsuit, debt, duty, account, bond, covenant, warranty, indemnity, contract, or liability of any kind arising from or related to the participant's participation in the contest or attempt to participate, compliance or non-compliance with these contest rules, or the acceptance and use of the prize. The indemnified parties will not be responsible for lost, incomplete, late, or misdirected entries or for any failure of the contest website during the contest period, or for any technical malfunction or other problems with telephone lines or networks, online computer systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, or software, or for any technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof, and will not be liable for any injury or damage to any person or property arising from, or related to, the participation or attempted participation of such person or any other person in this contest. Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of this contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and should such an attempt be made, the partners reserve the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution.
6.10 No communication or correspondence related to the contest will be exchanged with participants, except with the participant selected as the potential prize winner.
6.11 Personal Information. The personal information collected about participants in connection with this contest is used solely for the administration of this contest or for purposes permitted by law and is subject to Sprint Credit's privacy policy [ https://sprintcredit.ca/en/privacy-statement-ca/]. No commercial or other communication unrelated to this contest will be sent to the participant by the partners, unless permitted by law. Note: The use of the masculine gender has been preferred to lighten the text.
